How to use this calculator
Getting started
Tap keys to build an expression, or type directly if you're on a computer. Press = or Enter to calculate. A live preview of the result appears next to the input as you type.
Tabs
main — digits, arithmetic, roots, basic trig.
func — inverse trig, logs, exponentials, statistics, permutations/combinations, gcd/lcm/mod, rand.
hyp — hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions.
abc — a full keyboard for typing expressions by tapping.
Useful syntax
2pi or 3(4+5) — multiplication doesn't need a × sign.
|x| — the |x| key wraps a value in absolute-value bars.
nrt(3,27) — nth root; first number is the root, second is the value (this finds the cube root of 27).
nPr(5,2) / nCr(5,2) — permutations and combinations.
mod(10,3), gcd(24,36), lcm(4,6) — number theory helpers.
ans — reuses your last result.
DEG / RAD
Switches whether trig functions (sin, cos, tan and their inverses) treat numbers as degrees or radians.
Memory
MC clears memory. MR recalls it into the input. M+ / M− add or subtract the current result from memory. A small "M" badge appears near the top once memory holds a value.
History
Every calculation is saved in the History panel. Click any past entry to insert its result back into the input. Use Export to download your history as text, PDF, or Excel.
Clear vs. All Clear
Clear only clears the current input — your history and memory are kept. All Clear resets everything: input, history, and memory.
Keyboard & accessibility
All keys are real, labeled buttons reachable by Tab and activatable with Enter/Space, and results announce themselves to screen readers as they update. On touch devices, the input intentionally doesn't open your on-screen keyboard — use the calculator's own keys instead.
