Acres and hectares are worth calling out specifically, since neither fits cleanly into a simple metric or imperial length-squared pattern the way the other units do, they’re each defined as their own standalone area unit rather than derived by squaring a length unit, which is exactly why looking up their conversion factors (rather than calculating them from a linear unit conversion) matters.
